Information You Choose to Send
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that returns sponsored results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer the request.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log information helps maintain the service and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How Information Is Used
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, audience measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Lomita pages, Los Angeles County and California agencies, court systems, library collections, or outside search providers. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy terms. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and technical vendors may process logs while providing services to us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed in response to valid legal process; visitor information is not otherwise shared.
How Data Is Safeguarded
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are kept only for as long as their operational purpose requires. Since Lomita People Search has no user accounts, it stores no site password or account profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal data from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor sent personal information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, and related rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Our limited records usually consist of contact messages and routine logs, which we can search when a request is made through the Contact page. Public records kept by the City of Lomita, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain under the control of those custodians. The California Privacy Protection Agency also maintains the Data Broker Registry and information about separate deletion rights for broker-held data.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear here when changes are made. Continued use after publication of a revision indicates acceptance of the new version.
